So, Brad Sherman has stepped out to endorse Henry Waxman, even though the Westside politician has lined up behind Howard Berman, along with every other incumbent Democrat in the state of California.
Strangely enough, the two US Senators and the rest of the California Democratic caucus have not yet endorsed Henry Waxman in his own race.
Even Jane Harman, the former eight-term Congressman who represented the South Bay 36th has not tipped her hand one way or the other.
One thing is certain, though: Bloomfield, who has supported both conservative as well as liberal candidates, also stood by Jane Harman time and again in her reelection campaigns.
I wonder why so Democrats have refused to come and play for Henry Waxman?
Could it be that Democrats who want to work with Republicans and get the deficit under control have chafed under the imperious tenure of Congressman Henry Waxman?
Whether these individuals step out on behalf of Congressman Waxman or not, their silence has sent a clear message the formerly protected incumbent is in more trouble than most had predicted.
